Bubble Taptype: casual :: arcade
![]() ![]() | Many people like popping the bubble wrap. Do you? Whenever you have to wait with nothing to do, nothing to occupy your mind and you can't stand being idle, whenever you are bored this game is for you. Whenever you attend a boring lecture that you cannot leave but don't care much for the subject this game is for you. It is beautifuly mindless and very simple but addictive. All you need to do is to tap bubbles. They pop up randomly from the center of the screen. And you tap, tap, tap... They never end popping up! Standard bubble is for 1 point, big one is for 2. Extras include two bonuses: the gold for 10 points (tap it quickly because it will disappear) and the nuke for 1 point which when tapped will blow every bubble in its vicinity (but will not ignite other nukes). Level goes up automatically after some time and with it bubbles pop faster and there is more of them. When the FILL reaches 100% (or a little above) the game is over. Note: on devices that handle multi-touch you can tap many bubbles at once. Platforms: Android (at least 2.1), PC/Windows with DirectX. Blocks For Kidstype: casual :: virtual toy / education
![]() ![]() | Actually this is not a game, it is more of a playable virtual toy. There is no winner, no loser, no objective and no points. It is intended for small kids. No reading skill is required. But even adults can find it engaging. The goal is to allow the user to freely express imagination and creativity. One can build anything using chosen blocks. Program simulates realistic physical environment with gravity and mass, so it teaches some basic mechanics on an intuitive level and it also aids in development of hand-eye coordination. If there is not enough or too many blocks one can open a menu (right upper button) and add some more or remove some not needed. To add a new block (there is upper limit on that) simply drag a new block from menu and put it somewhere. To remove a block drag it into upper trashcan. To clear all blocks click bottom trashcan (the one with an explosion mark). To change color (before picking a block) click one of the colors in menu. Blocks For Kids is intentionally made simple, so there are only few block types and colors to choose from. For more fun there are three modes of gravity: normal, strong and low. Platforms: Android (at least 2.1), PC/Windows with DirectX. Language(s): English (but not much of a text) Andorid version no longer availabla on Google Play, sorry. v1.0 Release date: 2013-04-05 v1.1 Release date: 2013-04-19 Credits: idea, code, graphics, sound: Jakub Noniewicz. |

YAP Puzzletype: casual :: puzzle
![]() ![]() ![]() | YAP stands for 'Yet Another Puzzle'. Yet another but quite cool - you can use your own images. The objective is simple - solve a puzzle as fast as you can. But the fun is real. If it seems too easy, try harder levels. You can select one of 10 built-in images to solve or copy own images to game folder and use them instead. You can select level - from easy where the image is divided into 3x3 tiles to hard 9x9 (a little 6x6 less for Android). On Android you simply tap to select a tiles and slide it into different (possibly proper) place. On Windows: use mouse or shift + cursor keys or ZCXS to select a tiles, move it with mouse or cursor keys. When you move a tile into a new position the one that was there before swaps places with the moved one. When a tile is in its proper place you will notice a sound and golden flash. Note that tiles are not locked when they reach the right place, you have to develop a strategy to avoid unnecessary moves. Also there is in-game menu, with options to see an image preview and mark good or bad tiles for a while. The game allows you to use your own images in png and jpg formats (based on file extension: png, jpg, jpe, jpeg). On Android simply put your images in a folder (depending what your external storage path is) something like /sdcard/noniewicz.com/yappuzzle/images. This folder is automatically created by the game and filled with game's built-in images. Please make sure that your images are not too big in size. Optimal / recomended image dimensions are 800x600 to 1024x768. Platforms: Android (at least 2.1), PC/Windows with DirectX. Gem Slidertype: casual :: puzzle
![]() ![]() ![]() | This is quite a classic of puzzle games. I personally love this one so I wanted to have one of my own design created for Android. The most notable fact is that it took me only 4 days to create it from scratch. I do hope you will enjoy it as much as I do... Gems of different colors pop up and you can slide them. If you put a row of five or more gems of the same color (horizontal, vertical, diagonal) they disappear and you score points. If the board is full the game is over. Gray gems (on level 1 only) act as 'jokers' and substitute any color. You can undo last move. You can also select one of five gem sets. Platforms: Android (at least 2.1), PC/Windows with DirectX. Language(s): English / Polish Andorid version no longer availabla on Google Play, sorry. PC/Windows download: (just unpack into folder and run slider.exe) MD5: 2ba200b5913e3820780d0f2cf977eb80 SHA1: 3bf7946aa63901c53bb7174c14429e0a09e725c3 v1.0 Release date: 2013-12-31 v1.1 Release date: 2014-01-01 Credits: code, graphics, sound: Jakub Noniewicz. |
